EGO

James 4:6 (NLT)
"And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, 'God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.'"

Our ego (pride) is actually in opposition to God's grace. Humility brings us closer to Him. The Bible teaches that relying solely on ourselves—driven by ego—separates us from God's will. Scriptures urge us not to lean on our own understanding or strength but to trust fully in God. Ego says, “I’ve got this,” but faith says, “God’s got me.” Jesus teaches that apart from Him, we can do nothing truly fruitful. Pride leads to downfall, while humility invites God's grace and direction. We are not meant to walk alone, but to live dependent on God through faith—laying down our self-sufficiency and allowing Him to lead.
