America’s focus on social offenses over sin can be seen as a departure from God's standards. The Bible teaches that sin is an offense against God (Romans 3:23), but secularization has diminished the influence of biblical morality in society. Cultural emphasis on individual rights and relativism has overshadowed absolute truths found in Scripture (Isaiah 5:20). As a result, behaviors traditionally viewed as sinful are now often accepted or ignored. This shift reflects a broader rejection of God's authority and a failure to recognize the seriousness of sin, leading to societal priorities that diverge from biblical teachings.
